Cost: $35 pre-register; $40 at the door
This 2-hour seasonal workshop will explore acupressure points, breathing exercises, and gentle yoga postures to support the Kidney and Bladder meridians (water element) as the days shorten and we begin to turn inward. Gentle yoga and breathing exercises, when combined with acupressure, help to improve circulation, relaxation, and sleep, while alleviating some of the common ailments of the season: low immunity, fatigue, body aches, and winter blues. The first hour of this workshop will be a basic introduction to acupressure and meridian theory, while the second hour will focus on the physical practice of acupressure, yoga, and breathing. This class is appropriate for all ages and skill levels. Handouts and tea will be provided.
