Kundalini Yoga is a way to exercise your mind, body and spirit.
It enables you to reach a higher state of awareness, emotional stability and strength by using several techniques. 
These include pranayama (breathing exercises), kriyas (exercise sets), meditation, bhandas (body locks), mudras (gestures), mantras (chanting words) and visualization.
These Kundalini Yoga techniques raise the apana (energy you give out) to connect to the prana (energy you take in) in order to align your chakras (points of energy centers.)
This allows you to reach a higher consciousness and understanding, while being fit and healthy.

Join us each month as we explore different themes through the use of Kundalini Yoga techniques.

Luminous Renewal: Breathwork & Sound Healing for the Winter Solstice

The Winter Solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year, traditionally celebrated as a time of rebirth, deep renewal, and the return of the light. Join us for this cozy breathwork and sound healing experience to harness this energy, release all you’re ready to let go of, and call in a new year of blessings and inspiration.

Breathwork is a powerful healing practice rooted in ancient spiritual wisdom and proven by cutting-edge research. The power of your breath along with sound healing instruments will guide you to soothe your nervous system, clear out any emotional blockages, and awaken your intuition for effortless clarity and confidence going into the new year.

The breathwork we’ll use is a relaxing three-part pattern of pranayama and breath holds, which focuses on harmonizing, optimizing, and healing your body’s systems holistically. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or new to breathwork, this class offers a safe space to connect with your breath, reset your energy, and access inner healing.

At this workshop, you will:
-Nourish your mind, body, and soul for the winter season, shaking off any holiday stress and toning your nervous system.
-Reflect on your intentions and goals through guided journaling prompts and facilitated community discussion. 
-Experience a breathwork journey paired with sound healing instruments (crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and more).
-Align your subconscious in support of your goals through guided visualization exercises. 
-Learn the mechanics of breathwork practices that you can use at home for years to come.

Note: There are some health conditions that will require augmented breathing instructions, this will be discussed at the beginning of class but please reach out to iris@rarefortune.co with any questions. Please bring a notebook and writing utensil for reflective exercises that will aid you in going deeper.

Blossom’s 20th Living Yoga Anniversary Celebration

What began as Living Yoga Studio 20 years ago has Blossomed into what we are today. There have been many teachers and students, as well as several owners who have come and gone through these doors over the years.
We invite you to celebrate all of it with us.

Please join us at the New Hampshire Audubon here in Concord, NH on Saturday January 4, 2025 for a 90 minute yoga class guided by Maureen Miller, Beth-Aime Labonte and Candy Jackson.
Together in celebration, they will co-teach an All levels yoga class, sharing their years of yoga experience, here at Blossom and beyond. 
We then invite you to stay after for a social with light food and beverages.

All net proceeds will go to Yoga in Action, a non profit organization with the goal of removing social, physical and financial barriers that limit access to yoga in certain populations.

Tween yoga Get Strong class combines yoga poses, games, dancing, techniques to manage stress, grounding meditations, fun ways to move bodies, breath techniques to use when feeling overwhelmed, and SO much more. We do all of this in a fun way, because as much as our tweens want to be independent and mature, they also still love to play games!

Hypnosis Sound Bath

What is Hypnosis? It involves entering a heightened, focused state of awareness in order to bypass the conscious mind and create deep, lasting change through the subconscious. Considering 95-98% of our brain activity is beyond our conscious awareness, this technique opens us up to access the full scope of our power to live our most positive, fulfilling life. Bringing herbal knowledge from the three systems, she provides ways to augment healing for a natural and authentic course of action.
